Another track education opportunity, down at PPIR
On April 18-19, Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing will hold its annual Driving School at Pikes Peak International Raceway at Fountain, CO, just south of Colorado Springs. This fun event is one of the best deals around. For those who want to run their street car, the RMVR Precision School is open to all, offering personal instruction that can help take your track skills to the next level. $350 entry for 2 day event.

During this two day school you will participate in approximately 8 classroom sessions and 8 on-track sessions where you will: • Receive specific instruction targeted to Precision students • Learn to exercise precise and expert car control • Get specific instruction from a team of expert driving instructors • Learn about driving the PPIR track • Share in the joy of racing in a safe environment (there is no wheel to wheel competition in the Precision School) By the end of the weekend, you will be equipped to safely and confidently drive on track and at speed.
As an added incentive, the club will include a one-year RMVR membership with the cost for the Precision school. This allows those students to come out and drive at any event which includes a precision run group.
Must register by March 31st.

A few of my co-workers are going to this.
Kind of sad that I can't go - I don't know if I'll have the car back together by then.

It is not cheap, but investing in learning how to drive fast is just as important, if not more important than go-fast car parts.
